CONTROL YOUR DIET

Have grapefruit or other citric acid fruits in the morning. They act as a natural diuretic and have a low glycemic index. Add more fish to your routine, reduce soy produce (they increase water retention) and make sure you do not feed yourself more than 1200 calories a day. Try to eat frequently but in small amounts just enough to satisfy your hunger. Also, cut out sauces completely, don’t drink those sugar loaded juices and avoid alcohol. You need to make sure your intake of protein is significant and balance the carbs with it. 6 ounces of both are perfect for one meal, six times a day.

MENTALITY

You need to set your mind to having a good body, before anything else. You can take out some old pictures of a “healthy-you” or get someone’s picture, whose body you admire a lot. Put them in a place you can see frequently and imagine yourself in that picture. A focused mindset will help you overcome many obstacles in the battle of losing weight. So be sure to keep your eyes on the gold.
